Welcome to Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church (PHUMC). We are pleased that you are taking some time to check out our congregation and would love the opportunity to meet you in person at any of our worship experiences or programs we offer. You will see from this website that we are an active church with activities for all ages. The focus of our ministry is to connect people with God and each other. We believe that the most significant moments in our lives and best opportunity for change is when we do life together. God created us for community and we seek to be a place where joy, hope, love, mercy, compassion and forgiveness are a tangible reality. Spend as much time as you would like browsing these pages. We pray for all those that visit this site that something here will bless you and help you find power and freedom in Christ.

Sunday Services:
8:30 am Contemporary Service (in Community Life Center)
11:00 am Traditional Service (in Sanctuary)
 Special Services:
Ash Wednesday 6:30 pm  This service begins the season of Lent, which is a
40 day season of preparation for Easter. The service is
highlighted by the imposition of ashes which
symbolizes our sin and mortality.
Maundy Thursday  This night we remember when Jesus instituted the
Last supper with His disciples. This moving service
gives our Christian practice context within the life
and ministry of Jesus.
Good Friday  This moving service takes us through the final
hours of Jesus’ life on earth and gives us a deeper
understanding of the wonder of Easter.
Easter Sonrise 6:30 am  We gather in remembrance of the 1st Easter
morning when women went to the tomb of Jesus.
We discover, as they did, that Christ indeed has risen.
This becomes our source of hope. Following this
service we celebrate with a special Easter Breakfast.
Service of Healing & Hope  Periodically we hold services that focus on bringing
healing to the brokenness of life. These services are a concentrated effort to channel the power of the Holy Spirit into the situations where we find ourselves most
vulnerable, hurting, lost, and forsaken.
Candlelight Christmas Eve This is one of the most special moment of the entire
year. We celebrate the birth of Jesus in a moving
service of light, music, and message. Plan to include
one of thes services in your family Christmas
